The Grimoire Gauntlet

This game is a vertical shooter roguelike where you control a wizard on a quest to save the princess. You will have to navigate through a few stages, shooting down various servants of the dark lord. Along the way, you will be able to collect different tomes and potions, which grant your character temporary upgraded abilities. Once their durability runs out, however, you will lose the temporary upgraded ability and no longer be able to use them. Upon death,  you will have to start again at square zero.
